I would like to exchange my thoughts and information about the Ursinus Family with you, not only in the Netherlands and Finland, but also in Europe. I was born in Finland but living in Stockholm, Sweden since 1996 and I belong to Finnish Ursinus Family. My earliest known ancestor is Pastor (Vicar) Georgius Johannis Ursinus, born about 1632 and died in 1683. His place of birth is unknown. Deceased in Kangasniemi, Finland. I have a strong doubt that Ursinus in Finland and Ursinus in Gelderland, the Netherlands, must have some kind of Family connection in the 16th century or earlier. The connection is probably via Germany. I have researched Ursinus Family in Finland since 2013, using the possibilities provided by DNA genealogy tests. I have a pretty clear picture of my own Y-DNA haplogroup (R1b-U106> S21607> A5317 ...). For this reason, I am looking for a membership in your Guest Book so that I can discuss our possible family relationship with other Ursinus researchers in the Netherlands.
